Rachel Nam, MA, MS, Therapy Intern
Rachel believes in the healing power of relationships and has profound respect for the courage it takes to begin this work. Even the hardest changes become possible when people feel genuinely supported, in therapy and in their closest relationships.
She is currently a PhD student in clinical psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she also earned her MA in Clinical Psychology.
She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and has experience working with both children and adults. Rachel sees her role as working alongside clients as a partner in their journey: understanding where they’re coming from, holding what feels too heavy to carry alone, and offering challenge when it serves their growth.
Her clinical work is informed by her own lived experience of coming to the US from Korea, navigating the corporate world, and becoming a mother, which gives her a genuine appreciation for resilience through life’s transitions and the strength people find in connection.
