As a licensed clinical psychologist, Irina specializes in relationships, couples therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. Helping people heal from trauma and find their way to a vibrant life and meaningful relationships is her true calling. Irina’s role is to help you become more effective in navigating your life experiences and relationships, creating the life you want.
Irina founded Touchstone Psychology with the mission of helping people thrive and enjoy lasting relationships with themselves and others.
Her stance is authentic, collaborative, empathetic, and holistic, creating a dynamic therapeutic conversation that fosters healing and growth. Irina listens deeply for your strengths and identifies the factors that keep you stuck. With a strong focus on authenticity in therapy, she honors the diversity of identities and backgrounds, striving to provide a safe and inclusive space for you to feel seen and understood.
Irina has extensive experience in psychotherapy, with her primary grounding in the Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) model. A certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor, she also serves as Vice President of the New York Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy. Her interventions are rooted in attachment science, evidence-based methods, and contemplative practices.
Jaime Cecutti, LMSW, Therapist
For over 25 years, Jaime has been helping individuals, couples, and families heal and build meaningful relationships. She has journeyed through the challenges of trauma, loss, and growth, developing a passion for standardized and successful healing processes.
Jaime earned her degree in Human Biology with a concentration in Change and Wellbeing from Stanford University and her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. Her career and research have centered around trauma-focused therapy, resilience building, and fostering secure attachments.
With extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Jaime uses EFT’s research-based, proven framework for couples therapy for conflict and disconnection. She also incorporates Refocussing Therapy, integrating theology and psychology to provide a safe space for spiritual exploration.
Jaime brings a strong sense of peace, hope, and occasional humor to therapy. She helps you understand and reframe patterns, creating new neural pathways for secure connections. Her work focuses on fostering healing from trauma and building lasting relationships.
Katya Gruzglina, MFT-LP, Therapist
Katya specializes in helping couples and individuals navigate their relationships and build stronger connections with themselves and others. She believes that a compassionate and trusting therapeutic relationship forms the foundation for healing, offering you a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and identities. Katya is LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and sex-positive, and supports couples who are exploring or already practicing ethical non-monogamy (ENM) and other non-traditional relationship structures.
Katya’s background in the performing arts informs her work as a therapist, with a special interest in helping creatives navigate the unique emotional and relational challenges of artistic careers. Her approach is rooted in experiential models like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), while incorporating somatic work to deepen awareness of how emotions are experienced in the body.
In the therapy room, Katya brings warmth, empathy, and a genuine presence, working collaboratively to help you explore behaviors, thoughts, and feelings that might be keeping you stuck. Together, you’ll build awareness, agency, and the tools to move forward with compassion and confidence, cultivating deeper intimacy, resilience, and connection in your life and relationships.
Candice Vaiman, LCSW, Therapist
Candice is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience working with couples and families. She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and has expertise in working with high-conflict couples and trauma. Candice is passionate about helping couples to repair emotional wounds and to learn how to nurture their unique bond and connection. She is deeply committed to supporting couples in breaking intergenerational patterns and negative cycles, fostering healthy communication, and creating lasting change in their relationships.
Candice has a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach focusing on creating a trusting and safe environment where individuals feel understood, valued, and seen.
Candice’s role will be to guide you in identifying and overcoming unproductive relationship patterns helping you to rebuild a strong, loving, and secure relationship foundation, and to deepen and maintain a close bond with your partner. Candice puts her heart into her work and is committed to inclusivity and ensuring a therapeutic experience that acknowledges and celebrates individual identities and backgrounds.
Anthony Ventra, Associate Therapist
Anthony collaborates with clients to build secure relationships, navigate uncertainty, manage emotions, and foster resilience. He creates a safe space for clients to explore their experiences, supporting their growth and healing.
Currently completing his Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Hunter College, Anthony has trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. He also incorporates humanistic and experiential models such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing (SE).
Specializing in queer identities, substance use, family dynamics, and trauma-informed care, Anthony uses a values-based approach to help clients find meaning and purpose.
Drawing on his background in the apparel industry, Anthony brings strong communication and leadership skills to the therapy space. His innovative perspective helps clients set personalized goals.
When not working, Anthony enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, and attending live performances in NYC.
